Just downloaded NetNewsWire 1.0.8. It's a great RSS reader and blog editor. Definitely worth the $40.

Simple title, very deep movie. Hero opened last Friday and I got a chance to see it yesterday. I can say that was someone who takes the Martial Arts very seriously, it was quite a touching film. It wasn't a tear-jerker, though some elements of the story could be called just that. It was much more a really good story that highlights certain existential questions that the arts IMHO attempts to answer. When the King Qin speaks of his realization at contemplating Broken Sword's actions, it strikes at that heart of what the journey in the Arts means: true peace. Through and through. Both without and within.
Go see it.
Yesterday, I finished my sixth and last class for beginning golf. I took Fundamentals and Short Game at my local golfing center. Boy do I Got It Bad. I love going out there and pounding those buckets into the fence or fighting it out on the chip-and-putt course. I haven't graduated to the Par 3 course yet as I score too many strokes on the chip-and-putt, but I'm getting there!

A few weeks ago, I returned to my dojang or martial arts school. Since then I realize (a) how much I missed training and (b) how good it feels to feel really, really healthy and strong. I am so glad to be back pursuing my black belt.
