Back from HK

For most of this week, I was visiting my best friend who lives in Hong Kong. I met some really nice, un pretentious people and basically just enjoyed the city. HK really is the New York of Asia. Lots of hustle and bustle. And the place is awash in cash. I've never seen such a density of E and S classes!

I had an emotional moment with my friend when we recounted the fact that we have spent half our lives enjoying our friendship and have come a long, long way. If you told us we would be sitting together looking at Hong Kong Harbor, receiving international cellular phone calls, we would have thought you were crazy. It felt good to come down through life like that together. [sniff sniff]
